FOUNDER & DIRECTOR
Gus founded BiBO with a clear vision that the smart use of technology and data technology could significantly enhance the wine investment experience. With a diverse background, Gus previously worked for a historic building restoration trust; and his fascination with old buildings is only matched by a love of mature bottles. With a passion for learning, Gus attained both the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designations, as well as graduating from INSEAD with a focus on Strategy in the Age of Digital Disruption
Outside of my professional life I love surrealist art and reading, especially about behavioural psychology. My other passions are family, food and travel, ideally combined.
Ellese Bullock
OPERATIONS DIRECTOR
I began my career in the wine industry in 2016 at London City Bond’s Vinotheque site, where I quickly developed an in-depth understanding of warehousing and logistics. Over the years, I honed my skills and was promoted to the Management team at LCB.
Helping to found BiBO as Operations Director allowed me to broaden my expertise in wine and operations management. I’m passionate about problem-solving, and I take pride in my determination to understand every aspect of the business.
Outside of work, I enjoy taking on renovation projects and traveling with my family, always seeking new challenges and experiences.
Sacha Wheeler
CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER (CTO)
My hobbies include making music, doing maths, taking photographs and building electronics. I have 2 (summa cum laude) bachelor degrees in fine art and 4 A grades at A’ level in sciences (maths 1, 2 & 3 and physics), and a career full of online startups, some of which were sold. I enjoy using technology to serve my team’s needs, and I really like this team.
