EnquiryThe 2005 Langoa Barton takes time to cohere in the glass, but eventually black cherries, black plum and a touch of mint develop. The palate is medium-bodied with just a little rusticity on the entry, dense tannins and fine acidity. The 2005 is a little muscular in style but nicely poised, with a slightly medicinal finish (a common theme of this vintage now that it is reaching age 20.) Tasted at the chateau.
