Tasting Notes
Vinous 91
The 2020 Cote de Brouilly Les Sept Vignes is aged in used barrels plus one or two foudres, fairly new, which gives a patina of new oak. The bouquet is just beautiful, featuring vivacious red cherries, kirsch, crushed violets and iris flower. The palate is medium-bodied with very lithe, almost saturated tannins, and poised and lightly spiced toward the finish. A gorgeous Cote de Brouilly, but give it two years in bottle (if you can resist).
Anticipated maturity: 2023-2035
